SAN JOSE, Calif. - Cynthia Flores scored a header off an assist by Jada Wilson to lead San Josè State (5-5-5, 4-2-2 Mountain West) to a 2-1 victory over Boise State (7-3-7, 3-1-4 Mountain West) on Sunday afternoon at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
- With the win, the Spartans moved past Boise State into third place in the Mountain West.
- For Flores, it was her third goal of the season which ties her with Bella Flocchini for the most goals on the team.
- For Wilson, it was her first assist of the season.
- Bente Pernot made two saves and earned her third solo and fourth combined shutout of the season.
- The Spartans outshot Boise State, 10-6.
- Isabella Shallou-Enes led the Spartans with three shots.
- The win was the Spartans third straight victory over Boise State, dating back to 2020.
