SAN JOSE, Calif. - Felicity Passon broke two pool records in the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:00.17 and the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.54, while Jenna Jagielski scored a 283.35 on the three-meter dive and a 274.20 on the 1-meter dive to win both events. The Spartans finished with a score of 148 to beat Pepperdine's score of 78.
SWIM
- The Spartans dominated todays meet finishing first in 15 out of 16 events and second in 12 out of 16 events
- Mya Azzopardi, Rowland Cali, Amelia Snyder, and Megan Legarth finished first in the 200 yard Medley.
- Azzopardi placed first in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:52.57
- Izzie Fraire clocked a time of 1:04.62 in the 100 yard breaststroke and 2:19.47 in the 200 yard breaststroke to finish first in both events
- Snyder finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.89 followed by Ellie Shorten with a time of 53.95
- Zsofia Muzsnay led the Spartans with a time of 5:04.53 to finish first in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Reagan Mathieson finished first in the 100-yard buterfly with a time of 58.14.
- The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Muzsnay, Mathieson, Ela Freiman, and Ellie Shorten finished first with a time of 1:38.33
DIVE
- Emily San Jose finished second behind Jajielski in the 1 meter dive with a score of 266.48
- SJSU finished first in both dive events
