LOS ANGELES, Calif.— Bence Szabo led No. 15 SJSU (5-9, 0-0) against No. 5 USC (13-4, 0-0) as the Spartans fell 18-7 on the road in Southern California.
- Garrett Johnson, Bendeguz Melkuhn, Mark Kis and Gal Haimovich all scored on the afternoon for the Spartans.
- Jamie Steingraf recorded five blocks on the afternoon.
- The Spartans recorded six assists on the afternoon as well.
- Javi Ibanez led the way with three assists for the Spartans.
- The Spartans will now wrap up non-conference play as they look towards their first conference game against Pepperdine.
Next Up: The Spartans will remain in Southern California to play against No. 11 Pepperdine (10-9, 0-0) on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 12:00 p.m. PST.
