Three Spartans Score in Double Figures as SJSU Falls to Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Three Spartans scored in double figures as Amhyia Moreland led the way with 10 points and four boards as San Josè State (1-8, 0-0 MW) fell 81-49 to Santa Clara (9-4, 0-0 WCC) Tuesday evening.

Looking Back 

  • Marisa Davis-Jones added 10 points and three rebounds throughout the game. 
  • Sabrina Ma added 10 points and knocked down back-to-back threes midway through the fourth quarter. 
  • Aarion Nichols added seven points of her own on 3/5 shooting. 
  • Jada Holland also added four points, three rebounds and three assists. 
  • SJSU also earned their way to the free throw line 15 times.
