 - Chevan Cordeiro threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another, plus Isaiah Hamilton caught a season-best five passes for a career-high 137 yards and one touchdown to lead San José State (7-5, 5-3 MW) in a 41-27 loss against Eastern Michigan (9-4, 5-3 MAC) in the Famous Idaho Potatoes Bowl on Tuesday afternoon.  

  • Cordeiro became the first Spartans quarterback to throw for more than 3,000 yards in a season since Josh Love in 2019.
  • Cordeiro became the first Spartans quarterback to rush for nine touchdowns in a season in the modern era.
  • Cordeiro's 366 passing yards were a single-game season high for the Spartans quarterback.
  • For Cordeiro, it was his third game of the season with three or more passing touchdowns and his sixth consecutive game of at least two touchdown passes.
  • Elijah Cooks became the first Spartans receiver to garner more than 1,000 receiving yards in a season since Tre Walker in 2019.
  • For Hamilton, the 137 receiving yards were a single-game career high.
  • The Spartans generated 498 yards of total offense which were the most in a single game by the Spartans this season.
  • Justin Lockhart had his first touchdown of the season.
  • Bryun Parham amassed his third sack of the season.
