FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.—Omari Moore scored a season-best 21 points to lead the San José State men's basketball team in a 99-58 loss at No. 11 Arkansas Saturday afternoon inside Bud Walton Arena.

  • Sage Tolbert III recorded his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. It was his third double-digit rebounding game this season.
  • The Spartans led by as many as four in the first half at 28-24 on a Tolbert three-pointer with 4:24 remaining, but the Razorbacks used a 16-7 run to take a 40-35 lead at halftime.
  • There were 12 lead changes in the first half, almost matching the 13 lead changes SJSU had the entire game in the win against Ball State.

  • Myron (MJ) Amey, Jr. returned to action after missing the past five games with an injury. He dished out two assists and grabbed a rebound in nine minutes of action.
  • The 19,200 fans in the arena are one of the largest non-conference crowds the Spartans have played in front of in school history. The program played in front of 16,300 fans at Kansas on November 26, 2012.

UP NEXT – The Spartans return to the Bay Area for a non-conference game on Tuesday, December 6, against CSU Bakersfield. Tip is set for 7 p.m. inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. Fans who cannot make the game can watch on NBC Sports Bay Area.
