After playing the past five games in three different time zones, the San José State men's basketball team will play the next five games in the Pacific Time Zone and within 80 miles of campus. The Spartans start this stretch of games by hosting CSU Bakersfield Tuesday night inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
San José State enters Tuesday's game with a 6-3 record after falling at No. 11 Arkansas this past Saturday, 99-58. The Spartans held a four-point lead in the first half, but were outscored 59-23 in the second half. Omari Moore led the team with a season-best 21 points, and Sage Tolbert III had his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
ABOUT CSU BAKERSFIELD: The Roadrunners enter Tuesday night with a 4-4 record. The team fell at Dartmouth, 79-54, on Saturday, but have wins over San Diego Christian (68-35), at Idaho (52-43), versus Texas A&M Corpus Christi (73-63) and La Sierra (90-49). Head coach Rod Barnes is in his 12th season at the school and has won 362 games in his 24-year career.

The two teams traveled to the Bahamas in 2018 and faced each other in the Junkanoo Jam as the Roadrunners won 73-72. Former Spartan Brey Ivey scored a team-high 22 points.

Omari Moore scored a season-high 21 points, his second 20+-point game this season and sixth of his career. Moore also dished out four assists and had a season-best four steals. Sage Tolbert III had his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Ibrahima Diallo scored 10 points, his second consecutive game scoring in double figures and the first time to accomplish back-to-back double-figure scoring games in his Spartan career.
- 19,200. That's the attendance number listed for San José State-Arkansas game at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville on December 3. That number marks the largest crowd to witness a San José State men's basketball game. The 2012-13 Spartans played in front of 16,300 fans at Kansas.
