ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Emilia Sjostrand, Roman Johnson and Jeremiah Walker will lead SJSU to their second contest of the season at the Naval Academy in the Wesley A. Brown Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
Emilia Sjostrand, So.
- First event: Women's Long Jump at 11:15 a.m. on Jan. 20
- Won first place in Triple Jump at Spokane Indoor Invitational last week with a distance of 12.66m
- Earned MW Woman Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts in Spokane, Wash.
Roman Johnson, Grad Student
- First event: Men's 60m Dash at 9:45 a.m. on Jan. 20
- Won first place in his preliminary heat and in the overall 60m dash event at the Spokane Indoor Invitational last week
- Submitted times of 6.71 and 6.68 in his preliminary and overall race wins respectively
Jeremiah Walker, Fr.
- First event: Men's 400m at 11:15 a.m.
- Won first ever collegiate 200m race with a time of 21.49 at Spokane Indoor Invitational last week
- Earned MW Freshman Athlete of the Week for his efforts in Spokane, Wash.
