Friday is a special meet for the San José State women's gymnastics program as the team hosts Air Force in an MPSF meet inside the Provident Credit Union beginning at 7:30 p.m.

- For the first time in school history and the history of NBC Sports Bay Area, the meet will be televised live on the channel. Fans unable to attend the meet can watch the action live with Justin Allegri and former Spartan Michelle Shalit on the call.

- The meet is also designated as Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. Faculty and staff can receive free admission by showing their valid Tower Card.
- The Spartan gymnasts have also selected a faculty or staff member to walk out with them during the team introductions, so fans should be in the facility by 7:15 p.m. to help recognize these hard-working people.
- The Spartans are also recognizing Black History Month including those on campus from the African American Studies, ODEI and BLOC departments on campus.
- The Spartans scored a 196.300 Sunday afternoon at UC Davis.
- The team is currently ranked 31st nationally as team, 20th on beam and 26th on bars.
- The Spartans have the top gymnast in every event and the all-around in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

- The Spartans have been rewarded for their performances this season by the MPSF. This week, Lauren Macpherson was named the Gymnast of the Week after winning the all-around title at UC Davis.

Tickets to all San José State women's gymnastics meets are available the day of the meet at the Provident Credit Union Event Center Box Office or by clicking here. All youth 12 and under receive free admission on Sundays. Please be sure to buy your tickets through the San José State Athletics Ticket Office.
