SAN JOSE, Calif.—Omari Moore scored 20 of his 27 points in the second half, and Ibrahima Diallo nailed two free throws with four second remaining in the game to give the San José State men's basketball team a 69-64 win over Utah State Saturday night in a Mountain West game inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.

- Moore was 9-for-21 from the field, but 7-of-13 from the field in the second half. He was also 8-for-9 from the free throw line.
- He also dished out four assists and grabbed two steals in the win.
- Diallo, a 54.9 percent free throw shooter for the season, was 4-for-6 from the free throw line and finished the night with eight points.
- With his 27 points, Moore also moved into 11th place all-time in scoring at San José State with 1,131 points, passing Ken Mickey (1974-77) who had 1,125 points. Moore needs just five points to crack the top-10 to tie Johnnie Skinner at 1,136, and eight points for ninth place and Terry Cannon at 1,139.
- Moore moved up the career steals list at SJSU as he is now tied for fifth with Terry Cannon (1990-94) with 113 steals.
- The Spartans improved to 15-10 overall and 6-6 in the MW, tied for fifth in the conference standings.
- The win ends a nine-game losing streak to Utah State. The last win, 64-62, came in San Jose on February 28, 2018.
- The MW's top shot blocker, Diallo had three more blocks in the game and now has 46 on the season. He moved into fifth place on the SJSU single-season list, passing Chris Oakes who had 44 in the 2009-10 season.
- Diallo also climbed up the SJSU career blocks list as he ended the game with 66 career blocks, passing Isaac Thornton who had 65 from 2013-17.
- The Spartan defense held Utah State without a made basket the final 3:04 of the game, making just 2 of their last 10 shots including missing the last four.
- The Spartans also held the Aggies without a made basket for the first 6:22 of the game as USU made a layup with 13:38 remaining in the first half to cut the SJSU lead to 13-4.
- The conference's top-rebounding team, San José State outrebounded the Aggies 36-27, only the fifth time USU has been outrebounded by an opponent and the second time by SJSU.
- Sage Tolbert III added 10 points and five assists, while Trey Anderson scored seven points and grabbed seven rebounds.
- Robert Vaihola came off the bench to lead the team with eight rebounds and dished out two assists.
