DAY 1 RESULTS | MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS CENTRAL | FULL SCHEDULE

HOUSTON -
Jenna Jagielski finished 11th overall in the 1-meter springboard to help lead San José State in day one of the Mountain West Swim and Dive Championship at the Campus and Recreation Center Natatorium on the campus of the University of Houston. The Spartans scored 112 points on day one and are ahead of Air Force (110), Colorado State (107) and New Mexico (84). 

  • The 800-yard free relay team of Reagan Mathieson, Zsófia Muzsnay, Amelia Snyder, and Mya Azzopardi recorded the fastest school time since 2016 with a 17:19.18 to finish fifth. 
  • The 200-yard medley relay team of Ellie Shorten, Cali Rowland, Laís Gasparini e Silva, and Muzsnay recorded a final time of 1:41.81 coming in a second faster than last year. 
  • Defending champion San Diego State leads the championship after the first day, tallying 223 points, while SJSU is currently in sixth place with 112 points.
