SACRAMENTO, Calif.—The Spartan stars came to shine Friday night as Jaudai Lopes, Emma Milne and the San José State women's gymnastics team tied or set new school records as they scored a 196.625 in a meet at Sacramento State where the Hornets scored a 194.975.

- Lopes started the night of record setting with the vault school record at 9.950, breaking the record of 9.925 set by Shina Cardeno (2006), Veronica Porte (2009) and herself (2022).
- The Spartans recorded a season-best 49.075 on vault, tying for the fourth-best score in school history.
- Emma Milne finished the meet by breaking the beam school record with a 9.950.
- The beam team also set a new record with a 49.350, breaking the old record of 49.300 set on February 6, 2022.
- With a 196.625, the Spartans tied the team school record set last year in a meet against UC Davis on February 27, 2022.
- On floor, San José State tied the team's season high with a 49.275, tying for the sixth-best floor score in Spartan history.
- Lauren Macpherson and Jada Mazury won the floor as they each scored a 9.900.
- Macpherson and Milne started the meet by winning the bars with a 9.875 for each of them.
- Macpherson won the all-around with a 39.500, the fourth-highest score in school history and the first Spartan to reach this milestone.
- Lopes had a 39.400 in the all-around, tying for the sixth-highest in school history.
- The Spartans also cemented themselves in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation record book.
