COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—San José State guard Omari Moore has been named the Mountain West Men's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Spartans to an overtime win against Boise State Saturday night.

*Averaged 18.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as the Spartans went 1-1 on the week
*Scored 24 points in the 74-68 overtime win over Boise State
*11th 20+-point game of the season and 17th consecutive game in double-figure scoring
*Dished out four assists which led to four three-pointers made
*Played 43:40 of a possible 45 minutes against Boise State
*Added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists in the loss at Nevada
*Moved up the San Jose State career scoring list, moving into 8th place and now has 1,200 career points, needs 26 points to move into 7th place
*Has 139 assists this season, surpassing his total from last year, and the 9th-highest total in a single-season at SJSU
*Moved into a tie for 4th all-time in steals at SJSU with 114.
*Spartans broke an 11-game losing streak to Boise State with the win 
 

UP NEXT – The Spartans play the final home game of the season on Tuesday the 28th as the Spartans welcome Colorado State for an 8 p.m. game to be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network. It is also the final home game for seniors Omari Moore, Sage Tolbert III and Kellen King who will be honored prior to the game.
