CEDAR CITY, Utah—Lauren Macpherson tied for first on bars and finished second in the all-around as the San José State women's gymnastics team scored a 195.425 Friday night in a meet at Southern Utah with Iowa Friday night.
- Macpherson scored a 9.900 on bars, tying her career-high, and had a 39.125 in the all-around.
- Madison Kirsch led the vault team with a 9.875, while Micheala Gentry had a season-best 9.800 on vault. The Spartans scored a 49.025 on the vault, the fourth 49.000+ score this season.
- Kyra Cato led the beam team with a season-high 9.900, as the team had a 49.175.
- Jada Mazury led the floor team with a 9.875, as they combined for a 48.925.
UP NEXT – The Spartans look to defend their Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship next Saturday, March 18, at the Air Force Academy. The meet will begin at 2 p.m. MT/1 p.m. PT.
