SAN JOSE, Calif.— Jaida Ward and Cheyenne Rice won both of their matches to lead San José State against USF and CSU Bakersfield in Day One of the San José State Tournament
- Ward and Rice both of their matches against USF and CSU Bakersfield, defeating the Dons' Letizia Aquilino and Mckenna Towne 21-18, 21-14 and the Roadrunners' Sophia Brandstetter and Hana Makonova 25-23, 21-23, 19-17
- Teila Allen and Tessa Rogers won over USF's Rainie Stevens and Rylie Reeves 18-21, 21-14, 15-13
- Nayeli Tia and Blaire Fleming defeated USF's Francesca Stanschus and Jolie Gutierrez 21-18, 19-21, 15-10
- Isabelle Sistek and Meredith Scott defeated CSU Bakersfield's Pearl Moore and Megan Gilbert 22-20, 21-17
- Tia and Rogers also won against CSU Bakersfield, defeating Isabella Almeida and Hayley McCluskey 19-21, 23-21, 15-10
