Four Spartans Selected to Compete at NCAA Gymnastics Los Angeles Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—San José State women's gymnasts Lauren Macpherson, Jaudai Lopes, Emma Milne and Jada Mazury will compete at the 2023 NCAA Gymnastics Los Angeles Regional at UCLA on March 30, beginning at 2 p.m.
 
Macpherson will compete in the all-around, while the other three are event specialists that day – Lopes, vault; Milne, beam & bars; and Mazury, floor. Macpherson will rotate with Washington, while the three specialists will compete with Auburn.
 
Live coverage of the meet will be shown on ESPN+.

Led the MPSF on bars with a 9.800 NQS
Qualified on beam with a 9.875 NQS
Co-school record holder on beam at 9.950
Making her second appearance as a beam specialist
 

Jada Mazury, Sr., Floor
First team All-MPSF on floor
Season-best 9.925 twice on floor
Had a 9.850 or higher in every meet
Second appearance at an NCAA Regional after competing last season as an all-around competitor
