RESULTS
SAN DIEGO— Emilia Sjostrand led San José State by finishing second in the Women's Long Jump at the Aztec Invitational on Saturday, March 25.
- Sjostrand took second place in the Women's Long Jump, tying the outdoor school record with a mark of 6.23m (20'5.25") set by Destiny Longmire in 2018
- Freshman Christopher Coats finished third in the Men's 400m Dash with a mark of 46.98 seconds
- Victoria Agyin submitted a mark of 12.87m (42'3.5") on her way to finishing third in the Women's Triple Jump event
- Sophie Liao, Gabby Spencer and freshmen Sharli'e McCuller and Alyssa Bean finished in third place in the Women's 4x100m Relay with a time of 45.55 seconds
- Freshman Demaris Waters came in fourth place in the Men's 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.02 seconds
UP NEXT: The Spartans travel to Fresno, Calif. to participate in the West Coast Relays on March 30 and 31, hosted by Fresno State.
