LAS VEGAS – San José State women's basketball players Jada Holland and Sabrina Ma both earned Mountain West postseason awards, the league announced Sunday ahead of the first round of the conference tournament.
JADA HOLLAND - All-Defensive Team
- Holland led the league in steals, averaging 2.5 per game
- She is currently on a 27-game streak with at least one steal
- Holland recorded six steals twice this season
- She has had at least three steals in 14 games
SABRINA MA - All-Freshman Team
- Ma was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week twice this season
- She averaged nine points per game and shot 38 percent from behind the arc
- She has scored at least 20 points five times this season, with her career high 24 points coming against Utah State in the season finale
- Ma has scored at least 20 points in three straight games coming into the conference tournament
