FULLERTON, Calif. – Jocylyn Vidal hit her first home run of the season and Lacie Ham struck out four to lead San José State (6-11) in a 12-6 loss to No. 15 LSU (19-1) and a 6-2 loss to No. 20 Oregon (15-4) Saturday night at the Judi Garman Classic.
No. 15 LSU
- Vidal went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored
- Alyssa Graham had a hit, RBI and run scored
- Jessica Giacoma went 1-for-2 with an RBI and run scored
- Jules Ronquillo had a hit and run scored
- Ahmiya Noriega scored a run
- Ashley Legler went 2.0 IP while only letting up one hit and had one strikeout
No. 20 Oregon
- Jenessa Ullegue went 3.0 IP with three strikeouts and four hits
- Ullegue also went 2-for-3 hitting with a run scored
- Ham went 4.0 IP while letting up five hits
- Aubrie Thomas had an RBI single and went 1-for-2 from the plate
- Giacoma had an RBI
- Vidal went 1-for-3 in the second game and 3-for-6 on the day
UP NEXT: The Spartans conclude the Judi Garman on Sunday with a 9:00 a.m. first pitch against Seattle University followed by a 11:15 a.m. start against Cal Poly.
