LAS VEGAS Adrianna Noriega and Arianna Miranda each hit RBI singles to lead San José State (20-24, 8-10 MW) in a 5-4 loss at UNLV (20-24, 6-10 MW) in the second game of a three-game road series Saturday afternoon at Eller Media Stadium.
 
The Rebels put three across in the seventh inning to get the win.

  • Jenessa Ullegue started in the circle and went 2.0 IP before coming back to pitch in the seventh inning with the bases loaded and no outs
  • Ullegue went 1-for-2 batting with her seventh double of the season and scored a run
  • Lacie Ham ended up going 4.0 IP with five strikeouts
  • Ad. Noriega went 2-for-4 overall and has 19 RBIs on the season
  • Karizma Bergesen went 2-for-3 with her 15th RBI
  • Miranda went 1-for-3
  • Ashley Rico earned her 16th RBI and scored a run
  • Makenzie Hutchinson and Reina Zermeno also scored runs for the Spartans
  • The Spartans left 12 on base in the loss
