Spartans Fall in Extra Innings to Santa Clara

SAN JOSE, Calif.Lacie Ham struck out six and threw 7.1 IP of shutout ball to lead San José State (21-25, 9-10 MW) in a 5-0 eight innings loss against Santa Clara (22-21, 3-6 WCC) in a lone non-conference game Wednesday evening at Spartan Softball Stadium.
 
Santa Clara scored the first runs of the game in the top of the eighth inning when they had the bases loaded with one out and Morgan Salmon hit a two-run double to left field.

UP NEXT: The Spartans finish the regular season hosting a three-game series against Utah State starting on May 4th at 6:00 p.m. and all the games can be seen on the Mountain West Network.
