SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose State Women's Water Polo hosts the 2023 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships this Friday through Sunday.Teams competing include - USC, Stanford, UCLA, California, Indiana, Arizona State, and San Jose State. San Jose State will play the first game of the day on Friday against No.2 Stanford at 11:00 a.m.
- Sinia Plotz was named to the All-MPSF Newcomer team.
- Lior Ben David scored two goals and added two assists against No.17 Indiana
- Lauren Woolley scored a backhand goal to tie the game 4-4 in the second quarter against No.17 Indiana.
- Hannah Henry recorded sixteen saves and three steals against No.5 California
- Goalkeeper Elaina Davey recorded seven saves and one steal against No.2 USC.
- Kylee Jansen scored a backhand shot in the second quarter against Fresno State to put the Spartans in the lead at half, 4-3.
- Maiken Pardon was the leading MPSF scorer last weekend with 11 goals.
- The Spartans went 3-1 at the Michigan Invitational.
- SJSU beat CSU East Bay and Santa Clara last Saturday.
