USAFA, Colo.—Theo Hardy had three hits, an RBI and scored a run to lead the San José State baseball team (20-18, 13-7 Mountain West) in a 6-4 loss to Air Force (19-24, 12-10 Mountain West) on Friday afternoon at Falcon Field.

  • Right-handed pitcher Nathan Hansen tossed 3.0 scoreless innings of relief, allowing only two hits and recording two strikeouts.
  • Jack Colette hit an inside-the-park home run in the first inning, his fourth home run of the season.
  • Charles McAdoo had two hits, including an RBI double.
  • RHP Jonathan Clark allowed only two runs through the first five innings before getting into trouble in the sixth.
  • Robert Hamchuk and James Shimashita each went 1-for-3 with a walk.
  • Matt Spear registered an RBI with a sacrifice fly.
