SAN JOSE, Calif.— 10 San José State University women's water polo players have been honored for their achievements in the classroom by being named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Scholar Athletes.
To receive the honor, players must have a 3.00 or better grade point average, be a sophomore academically, completed at least one full academic year at the institution prior to this season and competed in 50 percent or more of the institution's competitions.
