SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Josè State women's water polo freshman Sinia Plotz earned Honorable Mention All-America Team honors by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC), announced on Thursday. This is the second season in a row an SJSU freshman has earned this honor and only the third time since 2015 a Spartan has been named to the ACWPC All-America Team.

- Over the 2023 season Plotz netted 32 goals along with 28 assists, 20 steals, eight drawn exclusions and eight field blocks.
- Plotz was also named to the 2023 All-MPSF Newcomer Team in April 2023.
- Plotz saw action in all 32 matches in her first year as a Spartan.
- Plotz recorded a total of 64 points over the 2023 season to rank second on the team.
- In the final match of the 2023 season against Arizona State, Plotz scored three goals and added three assists.
- Plotz also netted a season-high of five goals against Salem University on March 5th at the Michigan Invitational.
