SAN JOSE, Calif. - Bella Flocchini scored a goal to lead the San José State women's soccer team (0-1-1, 0-0-0 Mountain West) in a 1-1 draw against UC Santa Barbara (1-0-1, 0-0-0 Big West) on Sunday afternoon.
- Flocchini led the Spartans with two shots on goal and four shots overall.
- Sabrina Weinman also tallied four shots.
- Goalkeeper Bente Pernot registered six saves.
- The Spartans outshot the Gauchos, 15-12.
- The attendance for the Spartans' home opener was 1,201.
