BOSTON - Bella Flocchini scored her second goal of the season to lead the San José State women's soccer team (1-1-1, 0-0-0 Mountain West) in a 1-0 win at Northeastern (1-2-0, 0-0-0 CAA) on Thursday.
- Flocchini's goal was her second in two matches as she also scored against UC Santa Barbara in the Spartans' 1-1 draw on Sunday.
- Bente Pernot made three saves to earn her ninth career shutout. She moves into a tie for fifth with Meighan Maiwald (2010-11) and Adrienne Herbst (2003-05) for most career shutouts by a Spartans' goalkeeper. Paige Simoneau, the Spartans' assistant coach, holds the all-time record with 21 career shutouts.
- Tiana Cello led the Spartans with four shots.
- Cynthia Flores, Evan House, Kennedy Mayo and Sabrina Weinman each tallied one shot on goal.
- House and Tatiana Cunningham played the entire 90 minutes.
