NEWTON, Mass. - Bente Pernot made seven saves to lead the San José State women's soccer team (1-2-1, 0-0-0 Mountain West) in a 2-0 loss at Boston College (1-2-1, 0-0-0 ACC) on Sunday in Massachusetts.
- Pernot continued her hot start to the season as she entered the contest leading the Mountain West in saves with 20.
- Kennedy Mayo and Jordan Rowell led the Spartans with two shots each.
- Rowell, Karina Barkmeyer and Taylor Phillips each recorded a shot on goal.
- Evan House and Sabrina Weinman played all 90 minutes.
- The two Boston College goals occured in the first half as the Spartans recorded a shutout in the second period.
