SAN JOSE, Calif. - Laszlo Szbein scored three goals to lead the No.16 San José State men's water polo team in a 8-7 win against No.4 UC Davis on Saturday afternoon at the Schaal Aquatics Center in Davis, Calif.
- Mark Kis, Bence Szabo, Giancarlo Marquez, and Mateja Bosic also all scored.
- Goalkeeper Jaime Steingraf had nine saves on the afternoon.
- Senior Kis scored the first goal of the game on a power play.
- The Spartans outscored the Mustangs in the third and fourth quarters after being down 2-3 at the half.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will face UC Merced and West Valley College tomorrow Sunday, September 9th to close out the weekend.
