SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's soccer team (2-3-2, 0-0-0 MW) will battle the Cal Baptist Lancers (5-1-1, 0-0-0 WAC) at the Spartan Soccer Complex on Thursday, Sept. 14. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here.

- Bella Flocchini and Taylor Phillips each scored a pair of goals to lead the Spartans to a 4-0 win over Southern Utah on Sunday.
- In addition to her goal, Flocchini also had an assist as she registered five points for the match which is a career high.
- Karina Barkmeyer, Cynthia Flores, Iliana Jasso and Kennedy Mayo each had an assist.
- Shayla Sugai made five saves and recorded the first solo shutout of her career.

- She also leads the conference and is in the top 25 in the country with five goals.

- With nine career shutouts, Bente Pernot is tied with Meghan Maiwald (2010-11) and Adrienne Herbst (2003-05) for fifth in Spartans' history for most career clean sheets. The all-time leader is the Spartans' current assistant coach, Paige Simoneau.

VS. CAL BAPTIST
- The Cal Baptist Lancers are 5-1-1 this season and are coming off a 2-1 win over Fresno State on Sunday.
- Prior to the Fresno State match, the Lancers picked up their first-ever win over a power-five school with a 1-0 victory at Oregon.
- Thursday's match will be the first-ever meeting between the Spartans and the Lancers.
