BREMERTON, Wash. – Carl Corpus shot a 212 (-4) in the team event and Ivan Barahona shot a 203 (-13) in his debut as a Spartan in the individual event to lead San José State at the Husky Invitational at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash.
- The Spartans finished eighth out of 14 teams in the 54-hole team competition shooting a 867 (+3).
- They were able to shoot a 1-under-par 287 in the final round.
- Corpus ended tied for ninth shooting a 70 (-2) in the final round.
- Barahona finished in second with a final round score of 65 (-7), the lowest in his competitive golf career.
- Zubair Firdaus finished with a 218 (+2) and tied for 37th.
- Xuan Luo shot a 220 (+4) with a final round score of 70 (-2) and finished tied for 49th.
- In the individual competition, Avinash Iyer shot a 211 (-5) with a final round of 68 (-4) to finish in the top-10.
- Itai Cohen finished at 213 (-3) while Keshav Mungali shot a 214 (-2) overall in the individual competition.
