Spartans Begin Conference Play at Home Against UNM, SDSU

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's soccer team (2-3-3, 0-0-0 MW) will host New Mexico (3-1-2, 0-0-0 MW) and San Diego State (5-2-1, 0-0-0 MW) this week at the Spartan Soccer Complex. The Spartans will take on the Lobos on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. and the Aztecs on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 12 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets. On Sunday, youth 12 and under get in free.

LAST WEEK IN REVIEW

  • The Spartans played one match last week, drawing 0-0 versus California Baptist on Thursday, Sept. 14.

  • They have not played since Sunday, Sept. 10, a 3-1 win over New Mexico State.
  • The Spartans took two draws against the Lobos in 2022, including a 0-0 result in the semifinal of the Mountain West Championship. The Spartans ended up winning the shootout, 4-2, to advance to the championship match.
  • Cynthia Flores and Evan House have each netted a goal against New Mexico with Flores scoring in 2022 and House in 2021.
  • The Spartans have an 8-3-5 all-time record against the Lobos.

VS. SAN DIEGO STATE
