SAN JOSE, Calif. - Kennedy Mayo scored the match-tying goal to lead the San José State women's soccer team (2-3-4, 0-0-1 MW) in a 1-1 draw against New Mexico (3-1-3, 0-0-1 MW) on Thursday night.

  • Mayo's goal, which occured in the 74th minute, was her second of the season.
  • Tiana Cello and Evan House picked up the assists.
  • Mayo had a match-high two shots on goal.
  • Bella Flocchini led the Spartans with four shots.
  • Bente Pernot made three saves.
  • The Spartans committed only five fouls compared to New Mexico's 15.
  • Six Spartans played all 90 minutes.
