Several Spartans Record Career Highs in 4-1 Win Over Sacramento State

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Angel Iniguez scored a goal and dished out two assists to lead the San José State men's soccer team (3-2-3, 0-0-0 WAC) in a 4-1 win over Sacramento State (3-6-0, 0-0-0 Big West) on Friday evening.

  • Iniguez recorded four points in a match for the first time in his career. The Spartans leading point-producer this season is now up to four goals and five assists.
  • Joel Garcia, Anthony Guzman and Isaac Lomeli netted the other three goals for the Spartans.
  • Josh Lucas, Gaku Nishimura and Riccardo Scarafia each had a career-high two assists.
  • For Lucas, the assists were the first two points of his career.
  • Scarafia registered at least one point for the third match in a row.
  • Lomeli led the Spartans with four shots.
  • David Sweeney made two saves.
  • Six Spartans played all 90 minutes.
