LAHAINA, Hawaii - Caleb Shetler and Ivan Barahona both fired a 201 (-12) to finish tied for fourth to lead San José State at the Ka‘anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational.
- SJSU finished the tournament in fourth out of 20 teams with a 816 (-36).
- The team score is a new all-time low record, breaking their previous score of 819 (-33), which they shot this season in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational at Meadow Club.
- Barahona shot a 66 (-5) with seven birdies in the final round.
- Kristopher Stiles shot a final round of 66 (-5) and made his way up the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 15th at 205 (-8).
- Avinash Ayer fired a 70 (-1) in the final round.
- Xuan Luo finished in a tie for 52nd after shooting a 211 (-2).
- Freshman Marlon Jones played as an individual shooting a 73 (+2) in the final round.
- The Spartans had a total of 13 rounds at par or better over the week.
