STOCKTON, Calif. - Bence Szabo scored four goals and added an assist to lead No. 14 San José State water polo team in their 9-7 win against No. 16 Pacific.
- This is the first win against Pacific in the program's history.
- Maro Tiozzo, Laszlo Szieben, and Manteja Bosic also scored in the match.
- Goalkeeper Brendon Gyapjas recorded seven saves and a steal.
- Mark Kis and Szabo both drew exclusions to give the Spartans power play opportunities.
- Nikki Matheisen, Erik Duesund, and Bosic all contributed multiple assists.
