SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San José State cross country teams are set to compete in the SF State Invitational on Friday at the Golden Gate Park's Speedway Meadow. The women's 6k is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start, while the men's 8k is scheduled for 4:15.
- The men's team is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Pacific Collegiate Invitational.
- Amelio Chio took seventh place overall but finished second among attached runners.
- Christopher Malone and Michael Chadwick both finish inside the top 40.
- Amanda Chalburg continued her strong start to her collegiate career by finishing in 21st overall.
- Constance O'Neal finished just behind her in 24th.
