SAN JOSE, Calif. - Bente Pernot made three saves to lead the San José State women's soccer team (3-5-5, 1-2-2 MW) in a 1-0 defeat to Wyoming (5-5-3, 1-4-0 MW) on Thursday night.
- Wyoming scored in the 89th minute as the Spartans nearly earned a miraculous point; SJSU played most of the second half down a player because of a red card in the 51st minute.
- Sabrina Weinman led the Spartans with four shots, three of which were on goal.
- The Spartans defense forced Wyoming offsides six times.
- Four Spartans played all 90 minutes.
- Bella Flocchini and Taylor Phillips each had a shot on goal.
