SAN FRANCISCO – Amanda Chalburg led the way on the women's side for San José State as the cross country team competed in the SF State Invitational at Golden Gate Park's Speedway Meadow on Friday evening.
- Chalburg was the top finisher for the Spartans, finishing 28th overall out of the 140 runners and 25th among affiliated runners with a 23:19.5 in the 6k.
- Michael Chadwick led the way on the men's side with a 26:39.4 in the 8k.
- Constance O'Neal finished 30th among affiliated runners after running her 6k in 23:33.7.
UP NEXT: The Spartans have their final regular-season meet on October 14 when they compete in the Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, Calif., before competing in the Mountain West Championship on October 27 in Boise, Idaho.
