NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – The San José State women's basketball team (4-6, 0-0 MW) is back in action after two weeks off to take on Cal State Northridge (2-6, 0-0 Big West) on Monday afternoon as the Spartans start to wind down their non-conference schedule.
- The Spartans are coming off a 73-47 loss at Hawaii on December 3.
- Semaj Smith recorded her third-straight game with double-digit points off the bench.
- Freshman Sydni Summers, in her first-career start, had three 3-pointers for the fourth-straight game.
- Summers is sixth in the Mountain West in 3PT FG per game, averaging 1.89.
- Freshman Jyah LoVett is fourth in the Mountain West in steals per game (2.67) and sixth in assists per game (3.0).
- Amhyia Moreland is tied for eighth in the Mountain West in rebounds per game at 6.6.
- The Spartans rank atop the Mountain West in offensive rebound percentage at 35.7 percent.
- The Spartans are fourth in the league in scoring defense (59.3), assists (13.7) and steals (10.4).
