Spartans Fall At Hawai'i

HONOLULU, Hawai'i – Semaj Smith led San José State (4-6, 0-0 MW) with 13 points off the bench as the Spartans fell 73-47 to Hawai'i (3-5, 0-0 Big West) on Sunday afternoon.

  • It is Smith's third-straight game with double-digit points off the bench.
  • Smith went 6-of-8 from the field.
  • Amhyia Moreland also finished with 13 points and a 3-pointer.
  • Sydni Summers had three 3-pointers in the game and finished with nine points in her first-career start.
  • Summers has made at least three 3-pointers in four-straight games and five of the last six.
  • The Spartans assists on 72 percent of their field goals.
