Women's Basketball Returns To The Court At Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The San José State women's basketball team (6-12, 1-5 MW) returns to the court after a week away on Saturday afternoon when they take on Colorado State (12-6, 3-4 MW) at 12 p.m. PT.

  • The Spartans are coming off a 63-51 loss at San Diego State.
  • Amhyia Moreland scored a game-high 18 points and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.
  • Moreland is third during league play in FG percentage (61.4 percent), tied for third in blocked shots (2.0 per game), third in offensive rebounds (3.0 per game) and ranks in the top 10 in scoring (ninth, 13.8 PPG) and rebounding (T9th, 6.5 per game).
  • Jyah LoVett has earned three MW Freshman of the Week honors this season.
  • LoVett ranks in the top 10 in the Mountain West during league play in PPG (third), FG percentage (eighth), assists (seventh), FT percentage (second), steals (T7th), assist/turnover ratio (10th) and minutes played (sixth).
  • The Spartans are fourth in the league during conference play in 3PT percentage, third in FG percentage, fifth in blocked shots and second in steals.
