SAN JOSE, Calif. - The No. 16 San José State women's water polo team will travel to the Bronco Invitational in Santa Clara, Calif. from Feb. 17 - 18 at the Sullivan Aquatic Center. On Saturday, the Spartans will face Austin College at 1:10 pm and No. 13 Pacific at 4:40 pm. SJSU will then battle CSU East Bay at 1:30 pm and Brown at 3:30 pm on Sunday.
- Darcy Spark was on fire during the ASU invitational recording nine goals over the weekend and scoring a hat trick in the 5-3 win against No. 12 UCSB.
- Paxtyn Reihs had 100% shooting accuracy with four goals scored to lead the Spartans in their 24-3 win over Ottawa University Arizona.
- Grace Smith was on fire recording seven saves to lead the No. 19 Spartans in their 5-3 win over No. 12 UC Santa Barbara.
- The Spartans went 3-1 at the ASU Invitational.
- Sinia Plotz had a hat trick to lead the Spartans in their 12-8 win against Marist.
- Lucy Miszewski scored three goals to lead the No. 18 San José State women's water polo team in their 10-9 loss to No. 12 UCSB.
- Spark scored three goals and added an assist to lead the Spartans in their 10-8 win against No. 21 CSUN.
- Goalkeeper Grace Smith recorded seven saves on the afternoon in the Spartan's 10-8 win against No. 21 CSUN.
- Renee Fleming scored two goals in the match against UC Irvine on January 21st.
- Ivanna Anderson-Villela put two points on the board, while Rose Jensen and Lucchesi scored one point each against No. 9 Fresno State.
- Spark scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Spartans in their 11-6 loss to No. 9 Fresno State.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will have their first home match on Saturday, March 2nd against Stanford at the SRAC Pool beginning at 1 p.m.
