The San José State women’s gymnastics team makes the trip up Interstate 80 Sunday as the Spartans compete at UC Davis inside the University Credit Union Center beginning at 2 p.m.

- This is the second meeting this month between the two teams. The Spartans won the early matchup – 196.400-196.175, on February 9.
- The two teams were tied at 196.175, before Spartan Jada Mazury scored a 9.925 on floor to give SJSU the win.
- The Spartans and Aggies will compete against each other one more time this season – March 15 at California.
- San José State is ranked 35th nationally with a 195.696 average, while UC Davis is 42nd with a 195.168 average.
- Lauren Macpherson earned her fifth Mountain West Gymnast of the Week honor this week.
UP NEXT – The Spartans travel to Colorado next week for two meets, beginning with a MW meet at Air Force with Utah State on Friday, March 1. The team then competes in a quad meet at Denver on Sunday, March 3.
