Spartans Come Up Short At Boise State

BOISE, Idaho – Sabrina Ma came off the bench to lead San José State (6-16, 1-9 MW) with 13 points as the Spartans fell 73-42 at Boise State (15-8, 6-4 MW) on Wednesday night.

  • Ma made three 3-pointers and went 5-for-9 from the field to finish with a team-high 13 points.
  • Maya Anderson finished with nine points after going 4-for-4 from the free throw line, as well as a 3-pointer.
  • Sydni Summers matched Anderson with nine points of her own.
  • The contest went back and forth, and was even tied at halftime, before the Broncos made a run late in the third quarter.
  • The Spartan defense forced 16 turnovers by the Broncos.
