GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Malachi Snow, Demaris Waters, and Micah Hairston all had top-five finishes in both the Men's 110m Hurdles Invite as well as the Men's 110M Hurdles for San José State Track & Field at the second and final day of the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational at James G. Pressly Stadium , Percy Beard Track in Gainesville on Saturday.
In addition to the action in Florida, the team was also competing in Hayward, Calif. at the local Chuck Buettner Twilight where the Spartans also had multiple top-five finishes.
Tom Jones Memorial Invitational Day Two
- In the Men's 110m Hurdles Invite against top competition from around the country, Snow won the event with a time of 13.33.
- With his finish Snow is now the number one ranked hurdler in the country in the Men’s 110m Hurdles.
- Also in the Men's 110m Hurdles Invite, Waters placed fourth with a time of 13.40 seconds.
- Waters is currently ranked as the number seven hurdler in the country for the Men's 110m Hurdles.
- In the Men's 110m Hurdles, Hairston took second with a season best time of 13.99 seconds.
- In the Women's 400m, Sarah Mosteller ran a personal best time of 55.36 seconds.
- Greta Fraraccio had a season best distance of 11.89 meters In the Women's Triple Jump.
- In Women's High Jump, Lina Schubert had a season best 1.63.
- In Men's 4x100, Cameron Tarver,Snow, Issac Davis, Jeremiah Walker ran a personal best time of 39.73 seconds.
- In the Women's 400m Invite, Alyssa Bean had a personal best time of 53.69 seconds.
- Emilia Sjostrand placed fifth in the Women's Triple Jump Invite with a distance of 13.33 meters.
- In Women's 100m, Selena Arjona-Alcazar ran a personal best time of 11.69 seconds.

- Isaiah Gilmore took first in the Men’s 200 meter Dash with a time of 22.27 seconds.
- Nathan Lau took third in the Men’s 800 meter Run with a time of 1:57.45.
- In the Men’s 100 meter Dash, Aiden Stalnecker took fourth with a time of 11.12 seconds.
- In Women’s 1500 meter Run, Amanda Chalburg took fourth place with a time of 4:46.21.
- In the Men’s 1500 meter Run, Michael Chadwick came in fifth place with a time of 4:06.97.
- In Women’s 3000 meter Steeplechase , Gabriella Hernandez took fifth with a time of 11:51.96.
- In the Men’s 3000 meter Steeplechase, Alexander Walker took fourth with a time of 9:47.59.
UP NEXT:The Spartans will travel to Fresno, Calif., to continue the outdoor season in preparation for the Mountain West Championships and compete in the Fresno State Invitational on April 26-27.
