BERKELEY, Calif. – The women's 4x100 relay team of Selena Arjona-Alcazar, Eve Divinity, Morgan Little and Alyssa Bean took first place to highlight the final day of the Brutus Hamilton Invitational for San José State on Saturday.
- Arjona-Alcazar, Divinity, Little and Bean ran the race in 44.77 seconds, upsetting the likes of Oregon, to win the event.
- Divinity also ran a lifetime personal best of 23.91 seconds to finish sixth in the 200-meter dash.
- Bean had an outdoor personal record in the 400-meter dash, running the event in 54.55 seconds to finish fifth.
- Aliyah Williams finished first in the 800-meter run with a personal-best time of 2:09.83.
- Arjona-Alcazar also finished fourth in the 100-meter dash, running the event in 11.69 seconds.
- Micah Hairston took third in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.47 seconds.
- Cameron Tarver took fifth in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.54 seconds.
- The women's 4x400 relay team of Sarah Mosteller, Williams, Savana Dutton and Bean took second place, running the event in 3:42.93.
- Zaire Waring, Jaden Smith, Harry Overstreet and Jeremiah Walker took third in the men's 4x400 with a time of 3:14.95.
- Greta Fraraccio finished fifth in the women's long jump with a mark of 5.53 meters (18'1.75").
- Hazel Gaspaire took fourth in the women's high jump with a mark of 1.66 meters (5'5.25").
- Victoria Agyin won the women's triple jump at 12.47 meters (40'11").
- Ethan Fong finished third in the men's event with a mark of 14.13 meters (46'4.25").
UP NEXT: The Spartans will travel to Gainesville, Fla., to compete in the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational on April 12-13.
