LOUISVILLE, Ky.- San José State softball had nine student-athletes earn 2023-24 All-American Scholar-Athlete honors, as announced by Easton and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
The student-athletes earned these honors for their excellence in the classroom by maintaining a 3.50 GPA or better during the 2023-24 school year.

Carly Cummings, OF, 5-4, Freshman, San Jose, Calif.
- Made 12 starts in 28 appearances
- Season-high one hit against Iowa (3/8)
- Season-high one run scored against Utah State (5/3)
Taylor Chillingworth, UTL, 5-11, Freshman, Adelaide, Australia

Ava Conti, P/UT, 5-8, Freshman, Redwood City, Calif.

- Made 10 appearances, pitching 13 innings
- Finished with a record of 1-0, tallying five strikeouts and eight walks
Lacie Ham, RHP, 5-10, Junior, Murrieta, Calif.
- Finished the season with a record of 5-5 in 15 starts
- Second on the team with 29 appearances across 88.2 innings pitched.
- Tallied 48 strikeouts with an ERA of 6.08
Malia Luna, OF, 5-5, Redshirt Junior, Whittier, Calif.
- Made 16 starts in 25 appearances
- Hit .237 on the season with nine hits in 38 at-bats
- Tallied three RBIs and nine walks
Shay McDowell, UTL, 5-6, Sophomore, Roseville, Calif.
- Made 40 starts in 43 appearances
- Hit .268 with 33 hits in 123 at-bats, slugging .325 with 20 RBIs
- Led the team in put-outs with 220 and a fielding percentage of .992
Haley Reeve, OF, 5-6, Freshman, Fresno, Calif.
- Had 32 starts in 37 appearances
- Ended the season second on the team in batting average, hitting .310 with 26 hits in 84 at-bats
- Led the team with 12 stolen bases on 13 attempts
Mia Reynolds, RHP, 5-4, Junior, Tulare, Calif.
- Led team with 22 starts in 31 appearances over 109 innings pitched
- Finished first on the team in wins with a record of 7-14 with an ERA of 5.01
- Led team with 78 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.73
Aubrie Thomas, UTL, 5-4, Junior, San Jose, Calif.
- Had 43 starts in 43 appearances in centerfield.
- Hit .293 with 34 hits in 116 at-bats
- Led the team with 16 walks
