SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's water polo team has released its schedule for the 2024 season. The Spartans will play 22 games in 2024, 10 of which will be played at home. SJSU will open the regular season with two matches on Sept. 14 against UC Berkeley and UC Merced in Davis, Calif. as a part of the Aggie Invite.
NOTABLE DATES:
- Sept. 14-15: The Spartans will open the 2024 season at the Aggie Invite with games against UC Berkeley (9/14), UC Merced (9/14), UC Davis (9/15) and American River College (9/15)
- Sept. 19: SJSU will hold their home opener against George Washington
- Sept. 20: SJSU will open WCC league play on the road against Santa Clara
- Oct. 5: The Spartans will host the Big West - WCC Challenge with duels against UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis
- Oct. 11: San José State will hold an alumni game following their match against Pacific
- Oct. 19-20: The Spartans will travel to Boston, Mass. and Providence, R.I. to compete in four matches in the Harvard Invitational
- Oct. 25-27: SJSU will compete in the Julian Fraser Memorial against Fresno Pacific (10/25), Pomona Pitzers (10/26) and Harvard (10/27)
- Nov. 17: The Spartans will play their senior day match against Air Force
- Nov. 22-24: The WCC Conference Championships, held in Stockton, Calif.
