Spartan Gymnastics #3 Nationally In Team GPA; 16 Honored as Scholastic All-Americans

MARLBORO, N.J.—For the first time in school history, the San José State women’s gymnastics team posted the third-highest team grade-point average (GPA) in the nation for the 2023-24 academic year based on data submitted to the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA).

A school-record 16 gymnasts received Scholastic All-America honors with three Spartans recording a 4.0 GPA.

Of the 16 gymnasts, Jada Mazury is the only Spartan to ever receive five honors. Four received the honor for the fourth time, while five received honors for the first time in her Spartan career. Six received either their second or third recognition.

To be eligible for the award, gymnasts must have a 3.5 overall grade point average or a 3.5 grade point average for 2023-24.
